FAQ
What bushings can I use with Killer Trucks?
Killers work with a wide variety of bushings. They are thought out to be used with TALL BUSHINGS but accept any kind of bushing. Anything from standard size barrels with spacer, to Venom eliminators (both old and new shapes), cone bushings, Blood Orange, Riptide and many more. We recommend using the tall barrel with a duro that best fits your weight to take advantage of the extra deep lean tall bushings provide. Ultimately it's all about preference and what makes you flow best.
How to set up Killers?
When using tall bushings you do not require to use a boardside washer. Killers are shipped with a 2.5" zinc plated kingpin which is meant to be used with a tall barrel boardside and a standard height barrel roadside. To use a double tall barrel set up a 2.75" kingpin is necessary. When using standard height bushings you require to use a spacer boardside to make up for the empty space. This provides the freedom to use a wide variety of bushings. Flat washers both for boardside and roadside are included with Killer Trucks. It's very important to maintain correct geometry in any set of trucks. The hanger should always be parallel to the baseplate. Make sure you set up your bushings correctly to maintain perfect alignment and geometry. Killer Trucks come with replaceable stainless steel axles pre-installed with Red Loctite, axle nuts, grade 8 kingpin and nut.
